Tea Ceremony (Urasenke), Flower Arrangement(Ikenobou) and Calligraphy(Beikoku Shodo Kenkyu-kai)

Besides the regular classes we offer cultural classes by which you can experience the traditional Japanese arts. Calligraphy, flower arrangement, and tea ceremony are taught by very experienced teachers. Everyone is welcome to take these classes. It is not only the techniques that students can master, they can also learn the cultural meanings and values behind them as well.

Adult Class (Headquarters Classroom & Pasadena Gakuen)
In order to meet the increasing demand for adult Japanese classes, we now have classes for adults at both the headquarters location and at Pasadena Gakuen. Those classes meet every Saturday. At the headquarters location, the classes start in the morning, and at Pasadena Gakuen, the classes are held in the afternoon. The emphasis is on basic conversation in both those classes. Beginning students are welcome.
